Everest, the 2011-2012 Target.com ground-up redesign, offered plenty of opportunity to revisit and update old favorites from my time as a Creative Director for Target.com, like Wedding & Baby Registries, as well as the Checkout Flow. To these were added many new elements, including informative buyer guides and a site landing page meant to be browsed and consumed like popular social-media sites of the day. My team of 35 UX/UI and Content Resources assembled a compelling, highly-functional, brand-appropriate design system, with much to be appreciated about the crisp, elegant simplicity of these screens.
